What is the I GET TO mindset shift?

The 'I GET TO' mindset shift is about transforming obligation into agency. Instead of saying 'I have to go to work,' you reframe it as 'I GET TO go to work because I have skills someone values.' 'I GET TO' isn't a phrase — it's an invitation. An invitation to reclaim your agency, one daily HYGIENE practice at a time. Created by Temple Franklin, author of the first Mind Body Spirit HYGIENE workbook.

What is Mind Body Spirit HYGIENE?

Mind Body Spirit HYGIENE™ is a method and a whole new way of living, founded by Temple Franklin. Just as physical hygiene (brushing teeth, showering) is a daily non-negotiable, Mind Body Spirit HYGIENE treats practices like boundary-setting, anxiety-management, and mindset-reframing as daily non-negotiable hygiene. Not transformation. Not hustle. Just hygiene. Daily. Non-negotiable. Yours. Real tools, for real women, in the messy middle. Welcome home.

How do I set boundaries without being mean?

Setting boundaries is not mean — it's self-care. The key is having the right language. The Boundary Builder workbook gives you 20 real scripts with the exact words to say in common situations like guilt trips, work pressure, invasive questions, and one-sided friendships. Each script includes a softer stepping stone version for when you're not ready for the full boundary.

What to say when someone guilt trips you?

Instead of caving to guilt, try: 'I hear your concern, and I appreciate you caring. This is what feels right for me right now.' The Boundary Builder workbook has 20 scripts for guilt trips, invasive questions, work pressure, and more — with the exact words to say without being aggressive or mean.

What is the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique?

The 5-4-3-2-1 technique is a sensory grounding exercise for anxiety: name 5 things you SEE, 4 you can TOUCH, 3 you can HEAR, 2 you can SMELL, 1 you can TASTE. It works by pulling your brain out of anxious future-thinking and into present-moment awareness.
